NEARBY
The Béarn and the Pyrénées together offer a range of amazing activities:
One day you could be on a walk lost in the wilds of the Aspe Valley, accompanying the shepherds and their sheep up into the mountains to reach their summer pastures, or the next day finding yourself stretched out on the beach watching the great waves of the Atlantic, where the well known world cup surfing competition takes place each summer. All that at less than 40 mins by car from the Clarines to the mountains, or 1Hr and 1/4 to the sea !

THE OCEAN WAVES
The ocean is only an hour away from Pau (1h15 from Les Clarines).
The Bearn takes its inspiration from its heritage and harmonious contrasts, the Pyrenees on one side and the ocean on the other. Here you will discover Les Landes, and the Basque Region, a place to relax on the beach, or surf the great Atlantic waves, and taste the lively, authentic culture, a mix of ancient heritage and modern creations.
